In order to meet its goals, athletics
will successfully work with a variety of constituents to obtain
financial support, market sport programs, promote Rattler Athletics and
build strong relationships in Florida and throughout the country.
Mission Statement
To market FAMU intercollegiate
athletic events in order to enhance the lives of our students, alumni
and community friends while involving them in the advancement of FAMU
through promotions, and pre-game and halftime festivities at these
events. This is accomplished through the sale of tickets, corporate
sponsorships, and community partnerships for these events.
The FAMU Athletics Marketing /
Development office markets, assists, and supports the University Office
of Communications and the Office of University Relations, at Florida
A&M University, as well as the Athletics staff and student athletes.
In support of this commitment, the Athletics Marketing / Development
office enhances the lives in the FAMU community by promoting athletic
events in particular and the University in general.
Vision Statement
The Athletics Marketing / Development
office aspires to solidify a positive rapport with the fans of FAMU
Athletics by offering them valuable, well-rounded entertainment for
their ticket purchase. The Athletics Marketing / Development office
also wishes to reach out to more of the community and educate them on
the great product that FAMU Athletics offers for the fans’ entertainment
value.
