Florida A & M University Student-Athlete
Advisory Committee
The Student-Athletic Advisory Committee is designed to represent
the interest of student-athletes for the enhancement of Athletics at Florida A
& M University. The mission of the FAMU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
(SAAC) is to provide communication and leadership to all student-athletes as
well as enhance the student-athlete experience by assisting the athletic
administration with its mission.
The FAMU Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee (SAAC) made up of student-athletes from all sports assembles to
provide insight on the student-athlete experience at FAMU. SAAC is the voice
between all student-athletes, the athletic administration, FAMU faculty and
staff, MEAC conference and the NCAA. FAMU SAAC also offers input on the rules,
regulations and policies that affect student-athletes'.
The FAMU SAAC committee is
dedicated to community outreach. Community outreach provides the FAMU
student-athletes a way to give back and show their appreciation to the FAMU and
Leon county community.
