TALLAHASSEE,FL (April 7) - On a day where several parents, family and friends gathered to celebrate "Senior Day," the lone senior on the Rattlers delivered in the No.1 spot. Levan Clark, the talented left handed player, who helped the Rattlers to their No.69 ITA NCAA D-I ranking earlier this year, won both his doubles match, as well as his singles spot. The Rattlers, as a team, defeated the visiting Bethune-Cookman University Wildcats 6-1 to remain in second place in the MEAC southern division.

In doubles, Salif Kante and Chidi Gabriel defeated Marc Misanovic and Artem Vassiliev 8-4, Fabrice Myrtil and Levan Clark defeated Juan Varon and Santiago Lobelo 8-3. Wrapping up the sweep, Takura Happy and Temuera Asafu-Adjaye defeated Gilbert Kibet and Diego Garvito 8-5. With sweep, the Rattlers got off to a 1-0 start.

Clark defeated Misanovic (7-5,6-2) in the No.1 slot. In the No.2 slot, Kante defeated Varon (6-0,6-2). Happy took the No.3 slot with a (6-4, 6-7{2}, 10-5) win over Garvito.

In the No.4 slot, Gabriel won over Lobelo (6-3,7-5). The Rattlers suffered their lone defeat in the No.5 slot. Vassiliev defeated Myrtil (6-3,6-2). The Rattlers got back on track with a (6-2,7-5) win by Asafu-Adjaye overKip Jackson.
