TALLAHASSEE,FL (June 10) – The Florida A&M Rattlers will have a smooth, level and posh surface to practice on when season drills begin in August.  As part of an upgrade project to the field, the grass (pictured above) has been removed while the underlying surface is leveled and prepared for the laying of new prescription natural turf.

During the Spring, the iconic video platform that towered over the fields for decades, was removed.  It will eventually be rebuilt with a new structure, but temporarily, a lift, similar to the kind used on game  days, will be used for the video coordinator and his crew.
