FAMU Inks 2014 Rattler Football Recruiting Class

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Feb.5) - Head coach Earl Holmes and the Rattler football staff completed their first full signing class today, with some very talented student-athletes. Addressing the holes left by graduates and area that needed bolstering, Holmes looked all over the country to find players that were the right fit for his squad.

"We feel like we had a successful recruiting effort. We were able to get some talent from the pan handle area of Florida, as well as three players from the Miami area. The whole country comes to our area to recruit, so we wanted to maximize our footprint and get prime athletes to come to FAMU. With this being our first full recruiting class as coaches, we feel we've addressed the areas we needed to and are bringing in some talented athletes, who are also good students," Holmes said.
