ECU Pirates Sail Past Rattler Cagers, 82-62
Rattlers fall despite second half rally Tuesday
GREENVILLE, N.C. (Nov. 22) – The FAMU Men's Basketball team fell behind early and could not close the gap in a 82-62 road loss at East Carolina Tuesday evening at Minges Coliseum.
East Carolina (4-1) outpaced the Rattlers, 46-21 in the first half, after shooting 50 percent from the floor against a 29.6 percent floor showing for FAMU.
The Rattlers outslugged the Pirates, 41-36 in the second half, but the deficit proved too deep for a FAMU comeback.

Kentrell Barkley led all scorers with 21 points and eight rebounds for ECU. Caleb White added 20 points, hitting 6-of-10 from distance, while B.J. Tyson scored 17 points for the Pirates.
WHAT'S NEXT: FAMU (2-3) will head to Savannah, Georgia for a two-game weekend set Friday (Georgia Southern, 2:30 p.m.) and Saturday (Stetson, 12 Noon).
