NORFOLK,VA. (Oct.15)Drew Sarvary of Florida A&M was named Offensive Lineman of the Week and Chase Varnadore, also of FAMU, earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors, respectively.

Savary (OG, 6-6, 316, Fr., Tallahassee, Fla.) finished with a grade of 92-percent on his assignments as he guided the Rattler offense to 612 yards of total offense in a 44-3 win over Savannah State.  He also tallied four pancake blocks.

Varnadore (K/P, 5-11, 170, r-So., Tallahassee, Fla.) hit 3-of-3 field goals of 27, 21 and 38 yards in the Rattlers' 44-3 win over Savannah State.  He also averaged 56.1 yards on nine kickoffs with one touchback in the victory.

Other Top Performances

Brandon Denmark (FAMU) tallied six tackles, four solo, with 4.0 for a loss of 20 yards including 2.5 sacks for a 1.5 yards loss.  He also forced a fumble and broke up one pass in the win over Savannah State.

Eddie Rocker (FAMU) rushed for a career high 171 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown as the Rattlers defeated Savannah State 44-3.
