Florida A&M had eight All-MEAC honorees for the second consecutive season as five Rattlers were voted Second Team All-MEAC and three were voted Third Team All-MEAC. Florida A&M had more All-MEAC selections than any other school in the conference.

The sophomore from Tallahassee, FL led the MEAC in on base percentage (.466), and ranked in the top ten in various categories including: batting average (.338, 10th), walks (32, 5th), assists (107, 6th), and double plays turned (26, 6th). Reese accumulated 47 hits, 32 runs scored, three doubles, 17 RBI, and walked 32 times to just 23 strikeouts.

McDaniel, another Preseason First Team All-MEAC pick, started all 50 games for FAMU in centerfield and was a staple in the middle of the lineup. McDaniel was third in the MEAC in runs scored with 38. The sophomore from Tallahassee, FL notched 54 hits, eight doubles, two triples, two home runs, 26 RBI, and was 13-14 in stolen base attempts while playing an excellent centerfield.
