 Atsu Nyamadi

Atsu Nyamadi is from Anloga, Ghana. Nyamadi brings an exceptional background in the field events.  He is a medalist of the 2014 African Championships, 2015 African Games, and 2016 African championship. Coach Atsu Nyamadi finished 8th in the triple jump at the 2010 IAAF Youth Olympics Games. He competed at 2014 commonwealth games and he is currently training for 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2020 Olympic Games. He finished ninth in the decathlon at the 2015 NCAA Championship with the personal best of 7567 points set in Eugene, OR.  Coach Atsu holds Middle Tennessee State University’s school record in Decathlon (7800 point) and Heptathlon (5506 point). He is the 2016 and 2017 C-USA champion in Decathlon and indoor heptathlon.

 Nyamadi attended T.I. Ahmediyya HS in Kumasi, Ghana ... Lettered in track & field, volleyball and soccer ... Holds the javelin and discus records in Ghana ... Competed for Anselm Nyavedzie at T.I. Ahniediyya HS and Vincent Bingham at Neosha County CC. Coach Micah Tirop Wiley College and Dean A. Hayes Middle Tennessee State University.

Son of James Yao Nyamadi and Patience Adzotor Amevor ... Favorite hobby is competing in track & field ... Plans to be one of the best athletes in the decathlon ... graduate August 2017 with the degree of Sport Management .
