FAMU is now 9-11 overall and 6-1 in the MEAC.

Sophomore outside hitter Maria Yvett Garcia led FAMU with 15 kills, followed by sophomore Radka Dimitrova with 10.

Senior setter Valeria Lopez came out of the game with 41 assists, and starting libero Valentina Carrasco coming out with a total of 19 digs.

Savannah State kicked it into high gear in the third set and put up quite a fight. FAMU would lose the set, 24-26. The team drew energy from the loss as the Lady Rattlers turned up the heat in the fourth earning the overall victory, 25-14.
