FAMU GOLFERS FINISH FOURTH IN FREEMAN INVITATIONAL

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 2) - The FAMU Men's Golf team shot a three-round total of 936, to place fourth overall in the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational, hosted by Bethune-Cookman University at LPGA International.

Host Bethune-Cookman (893), shot a final round 293 on Friday to edge past Fort Wayne (897) for the team title, and Sacred Heart (911) which placed third.

FAMU's Alejandro Toro was the top Rattler performer with a two-under 70 on Friday to give him a 54-hole total of 224, tying him for fifth overall.

Mulbe Dillard IV finished the 54 hole event 20th overall with a 234. Cameron Riley (22nd, 236), Dennis Minefee (26th, 242) and Mahindra Lutchman (43rd, 256) rounded out the FAMU contingent.
