TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M University junior punter Chris Faddoul earned another preseason honor as he was selected to the Phil Steele FCS All-American Second Team on Wednesday.

Faddoul, who earned All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) First Team honors as a punter, ranked tops in the nation in the FCS in punting last season. He averaged 46.8 yards per punt, which was a little less than two yards shy of Roldan Alcobendas (44.9) of Eastern Washington.

The Wesley Chapel, Fla. native had 41 punts in 2018 for 1,920 yards, with a career-long 67 yarder. In addition, he placed 17 punts inside the 20-yard line, 16 of 50 yards or more, nine were fair caught and seven were touch backs.

The Rattlers continue preseason preparations for their 2019 season opener on Aug. 29 at Central Florida. Kickoff against the Knights is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcasted live on the CBS Sports Network.
