@2009-10: Bennett started in 25 of the 29 games that she played averaging 11.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. She finished the season ranked third in defensive rebounds per game (5.5).... fourth in blocked shot per game (1.1).... sixth in three point field goal percentage (33.3)...eighth in rebounding...11th in three point field goals per game (1.3) and 12th in scoring. Bennett also finished the season with seven double-doubles as she posted 27 point and 12 rebound performance against South Carolina State (3-1-10) and score a game high 21 points and pulled down a game high 10 rebounds against Coppin State (2-8-10). She grabbed a season high 17 boards against Delaware State (2-15-10).
@2008-09: Bennett a tall lanky play, that can play the shooting guard, small forward and the power forward position for the Lady Rattlers. She played in all 31 of FAMU games, while starting in 28 of them averaging 9.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.3 assist per game, earning 2009 All-MEAC Rookie honors. Bennett scored a career high 24 points against Bethune-Cookman (12-6-08) and pumped in 18 points against Hampton (3-13-09) and Miami (12-1-08). She pulled down unlucky number 13 twice on the season against Bethune-Cookman (3-5-09) and South Carolina State (3-10-09). In addition, Bennett dished a season high four assists against Winston-Salem State (2-28-09) and garnered four steals against Maryland Eastern Shore (2-21-09).
@High School: Bennett was a four-year letter winner in basketball at Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Fla. She finished her senior season as the team's leading rebounder. Bennett also earned National Honor Society honors with a 3.4 GPa and receive accolades for Community Service involvement.
Personal: Antonia Monique Bennett was born on February 12, 1990 to Iris Hinson and Antonio Bennett in Bartow, Fla. She has two sisters Amber Jones and Alysha Lewis. She is currently majoring in Occupational / Physical Therapy.
