Former FAMU football great Gerald L. White, passed at 1:46 pm on
Monday, May 23, 2011. He had expressed,
in subtle ways to some and more plainly to others, that his time was
near. He
recently told his barber "Make sure you do it up right today because I won't be
back for another one. I want this haircut to take me all the way in."
We ask for your prayers for Gerald and his entire family. He is survived by his wife Bridgid who remained faithful, devoted and kind until the very end, and his children, Gerald Jr and Latanya.
