"The Mystique" - Episode V Gulf Coast Offense

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - EPISODE V. -  Coach William "Billy" Joe was missing some things that left the Rattlers short of an NCAA national championship, but offense wasn't one of them.  In one of the most exciting and record-breaking eras in the history of Rattler Football, the emergence of what was termed the "Gulf Coast Offense," first by Rattler Sports Network commentators Keith Miles and Michael Thomas.

What resulted was an explosive offensive attack that utilized some of the best quarterbacks and receivers to wear the orange and green.  During his tenure as FAMU head coach the Rattlers dominated the MEAC and won a Sherican Black College national championship in 1998.
