Arianna Stewart led FAMU from the plate as she collected two hits in four at-bats as the Lady Rattlers finished with a team high six hits, while Sarah Kaiser finished with two hits to lead the Lady Eagles as the NCCU finished with a five hits in the contest.
Jennifer Lindsey picked up the win for FAMU as she pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out four, while Aurora Baker received the loss for NCCU as she gave up six hits, two earned runs and struck out five in seven innings of work.
The Lady Rattlers scored the first runs of the game as Kieifi Myrick hit a two-run blast, followed by an Alyssa Weaver double scoring Christina Robbs, giving FAMU a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning.
Jasmin Donaldson would score the Lady Rattlers' final run of game one as she scored on a Lady Eagle error in the top of the seventh inning, giving FAMU a 4-0 lead.
NCCU would score their only run of the game on Cember Carmichael sacrifice fly to left field scoring Regina Diaz for the 4-1 finale.

In game two, the Lady Rattlers pounded out a game-high nine hits as both Donaldson and Obie Roberson finished with two hits each to lead FAMU. Kaiser tallied two hits in the second contest to lead NCCU as the Lady Eagles finished with six hits.
Whitney Robinson picked the win for FAMU in game two as she gave up three hits, one earned run and struck out one in five innings of work. Bianka Molina received the loss for NCCU as she gave up nine hits, two earned runs and struck out five in seven innings of work.
FAMU took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second innings as both Robinson and Roberson scored, with Robinson scoring on an Lady Eagle error, and Roberson scored on a Brielle Gordon single.
NCCU tied the contest at 2-2 as they picked a run in the bottom of the fourth on a Kaiser single scoring Carmichael and a run in the bottom of the fifth inning and Martha Batie scored on a FAMU error.
Robbs would give the Lady Rattlers the win as she singled, scoring both Tenisha Dixon and Roberson for the 4-2 win.
The Lady Rattlers will return to action on Sunday, April 22 as they will conclude their three-game MEAC series with North Carolina Central in a 1 p.m. start at Piney Wood Park
