TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Dec. 6) - Florida A&M Women's Basketball players Jasmine Grice and Kimberly Sparkman are currently ranked nationally in  points per game and three-point field goals per game, announced Tuesday by the NCAA.

She recorded a 30 point performance on the season and has scored 20-plus points in the five of the Lady Rattlers' seven games on the season.

Sparkman, a 5-7 junior guard from Columbia, Tenn., is currently ranked second in the nation and leads the MEAC in three-point field goals per game at 3.67 per game. She is currently averaging 16.7 points per game for the Lady Rattlers. Sparkman nailed a season-high seven three pointers against Virginia Commonwealth (12-1-12) and knocked down six three-pointers against Stetson (11-16-12).

"This is truly a great honor for these two young ladies. This proves how much hard work and dedication pays off. Once again, I am truly happy for them and I know they will keep up the good work," said Head Women's Basketball Coach LeDawn Gibson.
