TALLAHASSEE, FL (Mar.18) - Florida A&M Football will host it's "Pro Day" on-campus combine tomorrow at the Hansel Tookes Recreation Center and Fields. The event will begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. and consist of a battery of tests on FAMU football players who have exhausted their eligibility.

Coach Earl Holmes is pleased with the attention being given to the senior Rattlers. "I've gotten some enthusiastic calls about this Pro Day, so I fully expect our guys to take advantage of the opportunity before them," Holmes said.

This year's class of graduates who will perform tomorrow include Brandon Davis (DL), Robert Hartley (OL), Travis Harvey (WR), Brandon Hepburn (LB), Ellie Hyppolite (DL), Marvin Ross (DB) and Padric Scott (DL).

The most visible of the class will be Hepburn, who after a solid performance in the regular season, was invited to play in the East-West All Star game, where he performed exceptionally well. That performance led to an invite tot he NFL combine in indianapolis, where he ran the fourth fastest time for linebackers, surpassing the performance of more noted linebackers. Several scouts have indicated that they wanted to take a closer look at Hepburn, and tomorrow will be their opportunity.

Harvey will represent a quarterback's ideal target. His size, speed and sure hands are appealing to scouts looking for a game-changing receiver.

A player that is gaining momentum as it inches toward selection time is defensive back Marvin Ross. Ross has entered several teams' radars for his hard-nosed play, agility and speed. A good 40-yard dash time could move him from probable to solid choice on tomorrow.

Padric Scott is the strongest man on the Rattler roster and possibly the strongest ever to don the orange and green. Teams resorted to double and triple-teaming him in order to keep him out of their backfields. Any player that is that much a part of a team's scouting report is granted respect by scouts. Scott is expected to radiate on the bench, and after training since the end of the season, looks to make an impressive 40-yard dash and shuttle time.

Hartley will look to impress the scouts on tomorrow. The well-sized tackle could impress scouts with punchy footwork and a show of agility in the shuttle run.

Davis and Hyppolite are defensive lineman who look to make breakthroughs on tomorrow. With this season's depth at defensive lineman, they will need to make impressive showings all-around to earn an opportunity with a team. Davis possesses exceptional foot quickness, while Hyppolite possesses a strong swift technique, allowing him to move around defenders.
