 Clifford Henry

Clifford Henry Jr. joins the Rattler staff as the running backs coach and punting team coordinator. The Little Rock, AK native attended the University of Arkansas, where he double majored in business administration with concentrations in both Finance and Marketing.  He played for the Razorbacks from 2005-2009.

 

Since college, he has a vast array of experience  on different levels.  He was offensive intern for Arkansas in 2010-2011, being upgraded to graduate assistant in 2012.  In 2013 he served as tight ends and fullbacks coach.  In 2014, he served as defensive line coach and work study supervisor.  He worked with head coach Willie Simmons at Prarie View A&M as tight ends coach, special teams coordinator and video coordinator.

 

He was honored at the 2017 AFCA 30 Under 30 institute.  In 2016 he attended the NCAA/NFL Coaches Academy. Earlier this year, he was a speaker in the special teams Chalk Talk session in Charlotte, NC. 

 

During his career, he has worked with several standout players.  Arkansas player DJ Williams was drafted in the 5thround of the 2011 draft.  Chris Gragg was drafted in the 7thround of the NFL draft in 2013.  At UAB, Kennard Backman was drafted in the 6thround of the NFL draft to the Green Bay Packers.  In 2017, PVAMU kicker Zack Elder was named SWAC Freshman of the Year. Also in 2017, kick returner Darius Floyd was named second team All-American.  He has assisted several other with superlative honors during his coaching career.
