JACKSONVILLE, FL. (March 27)
- The Florida A&M Baseball team dropped a 7-1 decision to the University of North Florida, here Tuesday evening at Harmon Stadium.

FAMU (5-22) was paced by both Reginald Grant and Dylan West as they both finished with two hits each as the Rattlers finished with seven hits as a team.

UNF (17-9) was led by Alex Bacon as he went a perfect three-for-three from the plate as the Ospreys finished the contest with 10 hits.

Tyler Moore (3-1) got win for UNF as he pitched three innings of scoreless baseball, allowing one hit and striking out three in the 11 batters he faced.  Heath Blackburn (1-5) received the loss for FAMU as he gave up nine hits, and six earned runs in five and one-third innings on the mound for the Rattlers.

UNF took a 4-0 lead into the fourth inning.

FAMU would score their only run of the game as Franklin singled to centerfield, scoring Daniel Lee, who doubled down the left field line in his at-bat.

The Ospreys would score three more runs in the half of the sixth for the 7-1 final.

FAMU will return to action on Wednesday, March 28 as they will take on the University of South Florida in a 5 p.m. start at USF Baseball Stadium.
