12 Reggie Lewis

Reggie Lewis has been on the squad that transitioned from head coach Eugene Harris to Clemon Johnson.  After not getting much playing time under Harris, Lewis was rediscovered by Johnson, who gave him the green light to use his long range.  He led the Rattlers in three-point shooting in 2011 and looks to lead the Rattlers to a solid campaign in 2013-2014.  Last season he often led the Rattlers in scoring.

Lewis was a four-year letterman in basketball at Bedford High School in Cleveland, Ohio.  He finished his senior season averaging 21 points, five assists and four rebounds per game and averaged 14 points, three rebounds and three assists per game his junior season.  In addition, Lewis was a Mac Scholar and was selected to the Merritt Honor Roll, both his junior and senior seasons.   He scored a season high 27 points, pulled down six rebounds and dished out five assists against St. Peter Chanel for his best single game performance.

He was born on August 18, 1991 to Reginald and Felecia Lewis in Cleveland, Ohio.  He has one sister, Alecia, and  is a member of his church's youth leadership program and choir.   Lewis is currently majoring in Social Work and enjoys singing in his spare time.
