Muhammad Abdul-Aleem returns for his senior campaign with the Rattlers. Abdul-Aleem is know for his ability to immediately electrify a crowd and energize his team with his play. The combo guard from Atlanta, Georgia, missed his senior season. He and twin brother Musa were homeschooled, therefore high school rules disallowed them to complete their senior seasons.
While they were playing in high school, Muhammad led the state in assists, while Musa led in scoring. Nonetheless, Muhammad went to Georgia Perimeter Community College, where he flourished. Though Georgia Perimeter lost in the conference finals, Abdul-Aleem was named to the All-Conference and All-Tournament teams.
His father played at S.C. State, where he went to school from Brooklyn, NY. He went on to a tryout with the Washington (Wizards) Bullets. His father taught Muhammad and his brother how to play basketball. He is married to Dhuha Abdul-Hadi and they have two children, Isa and Nura. His father and mother are Rashad and Khadijah Abdul-Aleem. His twin brother Musa plays at UCF.
