ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 13) The Florida A&M men's cross country team took home third place at the University of Central Florida's Black and Gold Challenge, Friday in Orlando. Shuaib Winters took home second place, just behind Embry-Riddle's Evans Kirwa. Kirwa came in at 24:15.10, while Winters finished in 25:04.12.
Winters was followed by Elias Chesire, who took fourth place in a time of 25:18.38. Diemy Duclos finished in 17th place in 26:33.80. Lamere Buchanon finished in 22nd place, finishing in 26:52.57. Robyel Kidane finished 38th in a time of 28:27.79. Isiah Coleman took 51st place at 29:30.72. Degion Craddock finished 54th, in a time of 29:42.03.
As a team, the Rattlers finished third place overall. The University of North Florida finished in first place with 30 points. Florida Gulf Coast finished second with 72 points, while the Rattlers finished a close third with 75 points.
