TUSCALOOSA, Ala - The Florida A&M Lady Rattlers cross country team competed at the NCAA DI South Regional 6K cross country meet on Saturday. The Lady Rattlers finished in the No.22 spot in an average time of 23:49.8, just ahead of the University of Central Florida. The Lady Rattlers earned 621 points for the race.
The Rattlers were the only team from the MEAC to place in the regional. Simone Durden carried the torch for the Lady Rattlers, finishing 95th overall in a time of 22:54.9. Chandelic Jackson finished 114th in a time of 23:13.8. Nichola Listhrop finished third on the Lady Rattlers' squad, placing 140th overall in a time of 23:50.2. Nadine Mulvaney finished fourth on the team with a time of 24:04.6, which placed her 148th overall. Ciera Williams ran a time of 25:05.4, which placed her 172nd. Clariccia Golden finished at 26:00.4, good for 183rd. Ariel Allen finished 188th, in a time of 26:26.9.
Coach Darlene Moore and her team will now turn their attention to the indoor track season.
