NORFOLK, Va. | Florida A&M University junior punter Chris Faddoul was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Faddoul, a native of Wesley Chapel, Fla., punted the ball just four times for 193 yards, averaging 48.2 yards per punt with one touchback and two kicks landing inside the 20-yard line. He also booted a 72-yard punt in the first quarter in the Rattlers’ overtime win against North Carolina A&T State.
Florida A&M (6-1 overall, 4-0 MEAC) is coming off an emotional 34-31 overtime win on Sunday afternoon. The Rattlers visit Morgan State on Saturday and the game will be streamed live on ESPN3.
