SAVANNAH, Ga. (Feb. 18) - The FAMU Men's Golf team returned to the links this weekend to compete in the College of William & Mary Invitational at the Savannah Harbor Course.
FAMU finished 15th overall in the 16-team invitational shooting a three-round total of 916 (299-313-304). Host William & Mary won the event shooting a three-day 10-under 854.
The Rattlers' Mulbe Dillard shot an opening round two-under 70 on his way to 17th place in the Individual Leaderboard with a three-round two over 218 (70-74-74).
Also competing in the Rattler Golf contingent were Cameron Riley (78-79-76=233), Prince Cunningham (75-84-74=233), Alejandr Toro Cupril (76-79-80=235) and Dennis Minefee (83-81-81=245).
NEXT ON THE TEE: FAMU will travel to Daytona Beach, Florida for the Gary Freeman Invitational, hosted by Bethune-Cookman University, Thursday and Friday, March 1-2.
