Bryant tied for fifth after Day 1 of Thomas University Invite

VALDOSTA, Ga. | The Florida A&M University men’s golf team opened its season on Monday at the Thomas University Fall Invite at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.


Logan Bryant sits four back of leader Ryan van der Slis (Point) and is tied for fifth after carding a 1-under par 71. Mahindra Lutchman is tied for 29th after shooting a 76. Mulbe Dillard fired a 79, while Ethan Mangum and Cameron Riley each registered 82s.


Florida A&M shot a 308 and sits in 12th place after the first day, with Point University out front with a 281 (7-under). Keiser (290), Coastal Georgia (293), Thomas (299), Keiser B Team (300), Mobile (301), Reinhardt (302), Truett-McConnell (302), Southeastern (304), SCAD – Atlanta (306) and Webber International (306). St. Andrews fired a 321 to round out the 13-team field.


The Thomas University Fall Invite concludes on Tuesday from the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.
