The FAMU Rattler Volleyball team dropped its’ second straight match Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 at Presbyterian (S.C.) College at Templeton Center.
FAMU (3-12) got off to a tough start, dropping the opening set, 25-9. They managed to get into a bit more of a flow in the final two sets, falling 25-14 in the second, before pushing their hosts in dropping the third, 25-18.
Grad outside Maria Yvett Garcia led FAMU with nine kills and 12 digs, followed by senior Elena Dimitrova with four kills and six assists, and junior Alexis Gosha with three kills and five digs.
Junior setter Ilayda Nurkan led FAMU with 12 assists.
