TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Feb. 12) – When the Florida A&M Rattlers face off against the Bethune-Cookman WIldcats in basketball next week, it's a rivalry that has become one of the most storied in all of HBCU athletics. Aside from the competition, the fanfare that surrounds any competition featuring the two adds to the excitement of the event.
FAMU Athletics will put on a post-game show at the Lawson Center which features recording artist/actor Willie Taylor. Taylor will perform a mini-concert following the game. There will also be a battle of the bands and a dance off between campus groups.
Admission to the post-game show is free with game ticket purchase. A special premium seating area will be available on the lower level. The premium seating includes free food, free beverages (including non-soft drinks) and seating on a stage area, similar to the North end zone at the football games. The inclusive price for the premium seats are $40 each.
Floor seats are also available for this game. Those seats are $20. A Family four pack is available for $25, which includes four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas. General admission is $10, Kids and non-FAMU students are $5 (children 2-under FREE). For tickets, please call (850)599-3141.
