NEW ORLEANS, La. (Oct. 16) - The FAMU Women’s Bowling team opens the Fall portion of the 2017-18 schedule here this weekend in the Tulane University Invitational Tournament.
The three-day tourney kicks off a four-event Fall slate which includes a pair of MEAC Southern Division Tournaments at Norfolk, Va. (Nov. 11-12) and Tallahassee (Dec. 1-2), along with a pre-Thanksgiving stop in Montgomery, Alabama for the Hornet Classic, hosted by Alabama State, Nov. 17-19.
Returning to lead the FAMU Women for coach Karen Brown, are senior Jazmine Aron (Evanston, Ill.), and the sophomore quartet of Mikayla Davis (Valdosta, Ga.), Destiny Williams (Chicago, Ill.), Demetria Bethel (Piscataway, N.J.),and Monique Ragland (Flint, Mich.)
That seasoned quintet will welcome heralded freshmen Keondra Eaton (Baton Rouge, La.) and Bethany Noel (Lawrenceville, Ga.) as they make a bid for the 2018 MEAC Championship.
