NORFOLK, Va., Oct. 24, 2017—Florida A&M freshman Keondra Eaton was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Eaton (Fr., Baton Rouge, La.) averaged 206.4 pins in her first collegiate tournament this past weekend in the AllState Sugar Bowl invitational hosted by Tulane University in New Orleans, Lousiana.
In helping the Rattlers to an 8-5 record for the weekend, Eaton had three games in the 200s – including a 244 against her hometown school, Southern University at Baton Rouge.
She also bowled a 205 against Texas Southern and a 203 against Valparaiso.
