PENSACOLA, Fla. (Jan. 27) – The FAMU Women’s Bowling team finished fifth in its annual Rattler Invitational Tournament, Friday through Sunday, January 25 through 27.
FAMU posted an 8-5 overall record, recording 11,001 total pinfalls for the weekend event, good a 166.1 average in 66 total games.
Alabama State won the tourney with a 12-1 record.
Leading the way for FAMU on the individual boards were: LeAnne Militscher, who rolled a team best 907, good for a 181.40 per game average. She also rolled a team best high game of 232 in Game Three.
Just edged out by Militscher was Keondra Eaton, who rolled a 906 (181.20 average), with a 206 high game.
Also in the competitive mix for FAMU were Destiny Williams with a 794 total in five games (158.80); LeAnn McLaughlin at 793 (158.60), and Demetria Bethel at 786 (157.20).
