NORFOLK, Va. (Nov.3) - FAMU bowler Janell Dykes earned an MEAC Top Performer nod for her performance at the B-CU Invitational bowling tournament. Dykes' average of 182.2, including a season-high game of 220, propelled the Lady Rattlers to a fourth place finish at the highly-competitive tournament. In the first round, the Lady Rattler defeated Farleigh-Dickinson, a top-rated team in NCAA bowling. On the final day, the Rattler would fall to the same team, to capture fourth place overall, just one place ahead of tournament host B-CU.
Dykes is a junior, from Lauderhill, FL. She attended South Plantation High School.
